I was hoping this wouldn't be a specific topic blog today, but another *FUN FACT* for right now is that the Amazing Lindsey Stirling's new album "Shatter Me" comes out tomorrow (4/29/14, Tuesday in the United States) and I'm super excited! I can't wait. She has already come out with two of the album's singles (I believe at least two) and they are already amazing!!!

Anyway, I also saw so many books and it was glorious. I was freaking out. I didn't buy any though cause that's not how I roll. I'm the type of bookworm that likes to check out a whole truck load of books from the library, and read them (well, duh) and then if I absolutely love one or a series then I buy it. I have gotten several gift cards in my time for Amazon or Barnes&Noble and I most always use them for books. BOOKS BOOKS GLORIOUS BOOKS! :D (singing break, dude, come on. Roll with it) :D

Okay, April 27th 2014 was yesterday, Sunday.

 

I got some books from my fellow book lover/buyer friend and it was awesome! (15 books, plus 2 movies, yay for my new addition to my small--but larger than most--inventory of books! haha) Pretty excited to read these over the summer!

Serious...ly, it was like my Birthday and Christmas combined. Honest.

 Maybe I should add a life event to Facebook. HA o.o

LOOK AT ALL THOSE AMAZING BOOKS! [just look. at. them. and dwell. in the beautifulness] One of them is even signed O_O The "Glimmerglass" book by Jenna Black. (*FUN FACT* I typed "Shimmerglass" at first but it looked wrong. I apologize!)

 

 

I'm still amazed that I got that many books. Plus the two movies.

Happy February 29th, 2012!

It was really strange since my watch said that it was actually March 1st. I had to change it back so now it says it's February 28th, even though it's actually the 29th! :P Lolz. But it was so weird! :D But amazingly so....you just don't get used to seeing February 29th written or typed or...read out loud or anything often. If you see February 29th, you, well, at least I, do a double-take or a double-thought.

SOUR PATCH KIDS with CHOPSTICKS! What now...! :D lol. Aren't you proud of me? (No need to comment if the comment is negative now...)

I love Sour Patch Kids. O_O As you know from the "About me page thing on here" :)

 EXPLANATION:

• My Dilemma [Little fact moment: oh my gosh. Selena Gomez has a song titled this!]-

I was eating Sour Patch Kids with chopsticks because (yes there is a reason to this madness)...
My family and I were playing this card game (called Dominion. You should try it!) and I didn't want to get the cards all sticky and stuff, but I also wanted to eat the Sour Patch Kids at the same time.

These are the boxes for the Dominion card game. We only have Prosperity and the Original cards...but here's a cooler pic. haha!

• The Solution [not to all problems in the world, sorry...but we are working on that]-

So, I take the bag (as pictured above before I tore it open) and proceeded to use wooden chopsticks to pick out all the reds, most of the yellows and some of the oranges to eat. I avoid the greens usually.

yeah...mine didn't have a spiffy little holder that looks like an egg with a dent in it. But they were wooden! Like...I mentioned before already... :]

Hello All! (wrote this on Oct. 20th, 2011)

Guess what? Wait...nevermind, not yet.

So on the 15th of October, we had our 1st marching band tournament. It was @ Covina. A two hour drive away.

Here was the schedule for that Saturday, Oct. 15th 2011:

8:30AM-2PM -> Band Practice

[1:30PM-2PM] ->Pack up equipment and instruments into trucks. For the pit/front ensemble, it took way longer than just 30 minutes. :P lol. So I probably didn't leave until...3 o'clock PM.

4PM -> CALL time!

4:15PM -> Departure in our spiffy Charter buses with leg room! Oh yeah! We left acutally more around 4:30 or 4:45 (ish) PM.

6:30 (ish)PM -> Arrive @ school (Charter Oaks, I think...)

8:38PM -> Performance

(I think it went well...we won 1st in our division, but not over all.) :P :]

10:30PM -> Leave/head home

12:30AM -> Arrive home @ PHS

We arrived more like...around...11:50PM, but the truck with our instruments didn't arrive until a little after midnight.THe pit had to unload everything.

Since my dad was helping unload the things on the uniform trailer with the rest of the "Crew", I waited for him to finish, although I was already done. All the...well, most of the band kids had left by then, and the music director was locking up the band/music rooms.

My dad and I left around 1AM or so. I got to bed around 2:30AM. Fun... :P XD LOL.

Anyways!

I stabbed myself (on October 16th, 2011) in the kitchen my accident. ...Yeah. :P -.-

I was making myself a sandwich (tuna fish) and the knife I had used to cut the cheese (and the sandwich in 1/2) slipped out of my right hand...well, no. It was about to slip out of my right hand. I stuck my left hand out to catch it, and stabbed my ring finger (4th finger) on my left hand.

(Yeah, it hurt. And still does....)

It didn't hit anything major I think, but it went pretty deep...I might have just "poked" the tendon. It was bleeding like crazy.

I haven't been able to play piano and violin since then (today's the 20th of Oct.)

Oh! and I've also gotten so many bruises from band..my instrument (the synthesizer, aka. synth). I "shanked" my leg on the 15th @ the band tournament...through my uniform actually...now there's this huge red mark on my leg and a big ole bruise. XP At least it didn't bleed. :P

Questions to talk about (which then turns into the BRIGHT SIDE OF LIFE crap) Happy happy, joy joy!

1.) Do you think Taylor Swift (or any other artists/bands) like to listen to her own songs for...fun? Like how her fans like to listen to them?

2.) Why do the kids in my class in the United States find foreign exchange students so intriguing? Especially if the F.E.S. is a guy and all the girls flock around him because he's just "so cuuuuute"...?! I find it sort of stupid, but maybe the new guy doesn't. Who knows? I heard he was shy though. And nope, I don't plan on "flocking around" him and finding out. He might be claustrophobic [So, it ends up that he now switched out of my English class...and not because he thinks that period class is all crazy, but my teacher liked to tease us about that. LOL] He seemed like a pretty cool guy, but I don't really like how all the girls suddenly "attacked" him and stuff...

3.) Why do people need other people? For support and such? I don't want to be a needy person. Independent...now that seems mighty fine to me. But then again...when you find "the one", then you want to sort of need that person right?

4.) Why, oh why, do humans need to socialize constantly? (It's fine if anyone does, I'm just wondering.) I know a few people I would like to talk/hang out with, but some are just plain annoying and some on purposely try to prove me wrong.

5.) I realize that I seem to find many things annoying...I should probably change and look on the bright side...

6.) -follow up to #5- College is coming up eventually, maybe I can not be as stressed there...? :P Ha.

7.) -follow up with #6- Life after college...hopefully I can publish a few books, be an expert at piano, and be rich and famous so I can travel the world with my friend (HANA! HERE'S YOUR SHOUT-OUT! ^-^). That would be...awesome! :) Now there's your bright side people!

It's Maaaaagical! Writing that is. It creates CHARACTERS. o_O :)

I love writing!!!! And I love making characters up, give them personalities, physical traits, and everything! They are just so fun to create. So that was one of my problems.

At one time, I had started a story and it had...*drumroll that blows your eardrums out*...14 main characters total. Yes, you read right, my friend. Fourteen. 7 guys and 7 girls. They were all BFFs of course. After a while of creating all of these many, many, maaaany characters, I realized I would either have to kill them off, or just start it over with fewer characters.

Yeahhhhhh. Now I just start new stories if I want to make a new character, since the other story already had enough main characters and characters in general. :) haha.

In conclusion, I LOVE writing! XD Okay, over and out!!! :]
