Ahhh!
So band camp started....this Monday, the 15th of August of 2011 and it's so HOT outside! o_O It's crazy! At least at the night time practices it isn't as hot. I got a serious sock tan on one leg. O_O And not the other. -.- haha! Weird! On that same leg, I also go sunburned. Meh...not too bad and I'm glad my face didn't get sunburned.
Everyone in my section (Percussion) got "missions" on the back of their name tags. Mine is to speak in a British accent for a day....And I've got until Monday the 22nd to complete it. I don't think I will, because I have no idea how to do an accent at all! The missions are supposed to be secret and I think only Percussion is doing it, so everyone else in Marching Band will think that we are super weird. LOL! :D teehee!
It is said to be hotter through out the week and then get cooler on Saturday, when we don't have practice. Thank goodness for that, but I think that it would've been nice if this week was cooler than it has been. Haha.
